Job Opportunity (Urgent)

Research & Proposal Specialist



A position has been created for a 'Research & Proposal Specialist' working partially at our head office in Belfast City Center and from home.

The ideal candidate would have a research background in social science and understands how to compile information especially statistics in a format that can be presented and understood easily in a framework of bringing a proposal to funders and sponsors such as government and others as why our projects should be funded by them.

This is a paid position and could lead to further work or even a full time funded position depending on the outcome of funding applications.  

At the present time we are raising funds and putting funding applications together for government and others to help fund our project in Belfast, UK and later in Pakistan for persons over 25 years of age who have a criminal background, former drug addiction, disabled or persons who are long term unemployed.

The project provides students with a complete rehabilitation framework learning life skills at home and life skills for working for an employer or to join the self employed work force owning your own business.

"Charity Fundraiser Voluntary".

An exciting voluntary opportunity is now on offer from ‘Compassion Group Network’ as a Charity Fundraiser. 

This role is also one of the most important positions in the organization.  The position requires commitment and a proven and a desire to help the organisation to raise funds and move forward in its objectives.

This is an exciting position and is not just about street collections, bag packing and the usual means to raise funds.  We desire to open the door for our volunteers and paid staff to do things they may have never done before in a fun environment such as sky-diving, mountain climbing, para-shooting out of a flying machine and anything else that might be possible and practical that raises funds and publicity for our UK registered charity.

Our local vision is to help people over 25 years of age who have fallen through the system and need help to get on their feet.  We plan to provide a service by which we provide skills for life and skills for employment working for a company or in a Self employed capacity.  In both the U.K. and Asia we desire to also help promote peace at a local grass roots level.

Another part of our vision is to help Pakistan people generally but especially those in minority communities through micro-financing, vocational training, academic education to a high standard and to promote peace building in the nation at a community level.

We also are developing a work in Malaysia and later a view for Thailand and Sri-Lanka to help asylum seekers who have been victims of militant extremism and as a result have been forced into asylum in a different country. 

Our aim is to assist them to gain income for their families and the ability to live legally in their country of asylum via the U.N.H.C.R. in an atmosphere of peace free from the fear of deportation to potentially face all sorts of problems and possibly loose their lives.

An exciting voluntary opportunity is now on offer from ‘Compassion Group Network’ as a Trustee & Head of Global Prayer. This role is most probably one of the most important positions in the organization.  The position requires established maturity and a proven and faithful track record in leadership. 

Our local vision is to help people over 25 years of age who have fallen through the system and need help to get on their feet.  We plan to provide a service by which we provide skills for life and skills for employment working for a company or in a Self employed capacity.  In both the U.K. and Asia we desire to also help promote peace at a local grass roots level.

Charity Finance Affairs Assistant "Voluntary

An exciting voluntary opportunity is now being offered by ‘Compassion for Pakistan’ as a Financial Assistant.

Our local vision is to help people over 25 years of age who have fallen through the system and need help to get on their feet.  We plan to provide a service by which we provide skills for life and skills for employment working for a company or in a Self employed capacity.  In both the U.K. and Asia we desire to also help promote peace at a local grass roots level.

Our voluntary organisations vision in Asia is to help Pakistani people especially in minority communities through micro-financing, vocational training, academic education to a high standard and to promote peace building in the nation. 

We also are developing a work in Malaysia and later a view for Thailand, Sri-Lanka and Hong Kong to help victims of militant extremism who have been forced into asylum, gain income for their families and the ability to live legally in an atmosphere of peace free from the fear of deportation.

On a local level in Northern Ireland & Great Britain we also seek to help those in the Pakistani community and other ethnic groups with help and advice and to assist the breaking down of prejudice and provide services to help them fully integrate into western society but retain their cultural identity and to promote peace between communities.

The specifications below are purely for guidelines and expected responsibilities and are not legally binding as this is a voluntary position.  However all decisions made as a volunteer for the organisation are binding by law in areas of privacy but any decisions are made by board of management or trustees.

The Financial Affairs Trustee will be expected to…..

Help to oversee and manage the financial affairs of the organisation, its financial staff, financial aspects of projects and fully liaise with the Finance Manager's, finance staff and the other trustee members the activities financially of Compassion for Pakistan on a local, regional and global basis.

Information Technology Manager "Voluntary".

A voluntary opportunity is now being offered by ‘Compassion Group Network’ as an I.T. Manager.  

Our local vision is to help people over 25 years of age who have fallen through the system and need help to get on their feet.  We plan to provide a service by which we provide skills for life and skills for employment working for a company or in a Self employed capacity.  In both the U.K. and Asia we desire to also help promote peace at a local grass roots level.

We propose to do this in U.K. and Pakistan through Business Schooling, Micro-financing, Vocational training, Academic education to a high standard and to promote peace building in the nations at a community level.

We also are developing a work in Malaysia and later a view for Thailand and Sri-Lanka to help victims of militant extremism who have been forced into asylum, gain income for their families and the ability to work and live legally in the country they have claimed asylum through the U.N.H.C.R. promoting an atmosphere of peace free from the fear of deportation.

On a local level in Northern Ireland & Great Britain we also seek to help those in the Pakistan community and other ethnic groups with help and advice and to assist the breaking down of prejudice and provide services to help them fully integrate into western society but retain their cultural identity in a peaceful manner.

The specifications we will provide are purely for guidelines and expected responsibilities and are not legally binding as this is a voluntary position at the moment by later a paid position will be offered, however on certain projects at the present time the charity is prepared to provide financial re-numeration depending on the project.  

However all decisions made as a IT Manager for the organisation are legally binding by law but all the decisions made for the organisation are the responsibility of the trustees.

The proposed IT Manager would have the responsibility of all areas of I.T. including website development, social media campaigns, future SHOP and maturity as well as later over seeing the organisations information technology structure.
